ABSTRACT:
A 10 page paper discussing the worsening perception of the rest of the world of the legitimacy of democracy in the United States. Domestic legalities of the President's actions have little bearing on how subsequent action was seen by the rest of the world, however. US stature has eroded in the eyes of the rest of the world over the past several years. The US government must care about how the rest of the world perceives the United States, and take steps to improve relations with those entities with which we do not naturally share a common ground and common worldview.
